Who we are and what we stand for

Château & Estate was founded in 1996 by Horst Zittlau, whose passion and expertise for wine began at Seagram Germany in 1979. In 2022, he transferred the company to his daughter Kim Jäger, who now continues his life's work together with her husband Dominik. The company is familymanaged.
We mainly focus on fine vintage wines and rarities from all major wine-producing regions of the world. Our range contains more than 100,000 bottles – which includes current and a wide selection of mature vintages.

Our customers in Europe, USA and Asia belong to the “Who is who” of their local markets and with many of them we enjoy very personal and trusting relationships which extend over more than 20 years. This also applies to our suppliers and producers.

Château & Estate is located in Mühlheim am Main, which is roughly 30 minutes from Frankfurt city and Frankfurt International airport.
